Forte Design · UK Golf Club Specialists
Cinematic film. Interactive course explorers. Premium typography and motion. Built specifically for UK golf clubs that want their digital experience to match the standard of their course.
Why we built Forte
We've spent months studying the digital experience at over forty UK golf clubs — from Sunningdale and Walton Heath at the top end, down to small members' clubs that haven't refreshed their site since GolfWorking sold them a template in 2014. The gap between what the best clubs have and what the average club has is enormous — and the average club, frankly, deserves better.
Forte Design exists to close that gap. We build digital experiences that match the quality and character of the course itself — cinematic drone film in the hero, interactive course explorers, premium typography that signals heritage, and motion design borrowed from luxury hospitality websites. Every site we ship is built to the same standard. No “Starter” or “Premium” tiers — just one premium product.
Selected Work
These are live, working demonstrations — not mockups. Each one was researched, designed, and built to fit the actual heritage of the club. Click any card to open the full site.

What you get
The list below arrives in every build — even at the £1,000 launch price. Compare it line-for-line against any other UK web agency quoting golf clubs and the gap should be self-evident.
Self-hosted MP4 or carefully embedded YouTube. If you have existing drone footage we'll use it; if not, we'll integrate what's publicly available tastefully.
Hover or tap any of eighteen markers to read its character. Hand-drawn SVG plan view of each hole — bunkers, fairway shape, green, hazards, yardage.
Lenis smooth scroll. GSAP-driven section reveals. Background colour morphs between chapters. Hero word-rise animation. Brass-rule draw-ins. It feels expensive because it is.
Real-time current conditions pulled from Open-Meteo (free forever, no API key needed). Tasteful corner widget. Members and visitors actually use this.
Subtle decorative WebGL — a rotating brass dimple-sphere in the corner of the hero. The kind of touch that makes professional designers stop and look twice.
Cormorant Garamond or Fraunces for headings. DM Sans for body. Editorial spacing, italic emphasis, brass-coloured rules. The same typography vocabulary used by Aman Resorts and private banking.
We mirror your existing sitemap exactly — same pages, same navigation depth. No content disappears. Visitors and search engines find what they expect, only beautiful.
BRS Golf, IntelligentGolf, ClubV1, HowDidiDo — we wrap your existing booking system inside the new design. No migration, no member retraining. Tee sheets keep working.
Lazy-loaded media, optimised fonts, vanilla JavaScript. Sites load in under 2 seconds on 4G. PageSpeed scores in the 90s. Members and visitors notice the speed.
Hosting, security updates, uptime monitoring, and one round of content edits per month included. Reach us by email or WhatsApp — usually replied to the same day.
The build process
We deep-dive your club — heritage, members' culture, course character, signature holes, competitive position. We study your existing site, identify what's working, what to keep, what to retire. Week 1.
You see a complete homepage design in your colour palette and typography within ten days. We iterate on it together — no surprises. The look is locked before any sub-pages are built. Week 2.
Full site built page-by-page in your private staging environment. Booking platform wired in. Course content, membership info, history, contact flows. You review at your own pace. Weeks 3–5.
Site goes live on your existing domain. We monitor for the first 30 days. You get monthly check-ins, one round of content edits per month, and a direct line for anything urgent. Forever.

Questions we get asked
We're new. We need a portfolio of live UK golf-club case studies before we can confidently quote £4,999 like the bigger agencies do. The first ten clients get the launch rate — in exchange, you become part of our case study and we ask for an honest testimonial once your site has been live for ninety days. After ten, the price returns to standard.
No. We mirror your existing sitemap exactly — same pages, same URLs where sensibly possible, same navigation depth. SEO equity carries across. If something is genuinely broken or outdated we'll flag it for discussion, but we don't retire content without your sign-off.
It stays exactly where it is. We integrate BRS Golf, IntelligentGolf, ClubV1, and HowDidiDo by wrapping them inside the new design — tee sheets keep working, members keep their logins, secretaries keep their workflow. The booking platform itself is untouched.
No. We're web designers, not pilots. If you don't already have drone footage we'll use what's publicly available on YouTube (always crediting the original creator), or we'll build the hero around still photography. If you want to commission a fresh drone shoot we can recommend UK pilots — expect £150–£400 for a half-day's filming.
Yes — that's the default. We move your existing domain over to our hosting on Netlify at no extra cost. The transition is seamless; visitors won't know anything has changed until they see the new site.
Thirty days' notice and you're free. You keep the site files. We just need the notice so we can transfer hosting cleanly to whichever provider you choose next. No contracts, no clawback, no “exit fees.”
Forte is run by Lewis Hull from Yorkshire, UK. He works directly with every client — no account managers, no junior team between you and the build. If you commission a site, you're talking to the person who's actually drawing it.
Of course — the four demos at the top of this page are live, fully working sites. Click any one to explore the whole experience. They were each researched and built to fit the specific character of that club, even though they're demos. Your site will be built to the same standard.
